Freeriding, Off-piste snowboard guide

Snowboard school Arlberg

At Snowboard Arlberg, we specialize in backcountry freeriding and lift-access off-piste in St. Anton am Arlberg, one of Europe’s top freeride destinations. Whether you’re a seasoned rider chasing fresh, untouched snow or an intermediate rider looking to explore beyond the groomers, our guided tours are tailored to fit your skill level and goals.

Expect epic days exploring the mountain’s best terrain, from wide-open bowls to hidden backcountry lines, accessible via the most advanced lift system in Austria. Our Off-piste snowboard guides know the mountain inside and out, helping you improve your skills, read the snow, and navigate safely while maximising your freeride experience. Whether you’re chasing fresh snow or seeking new challenges, ridng with a guideis the way to ride St. Anton like a local.

Hike and ride

On certain bustling days throughout the season, opting for a hike and ride can be an excellent choice. This strategy helps you avoid the crowds, as you hike away from the ski resort to access some of the finest lines within the Arlberg.

Numerous peaks can be reached with a hike lasting around 30 to 45 minutes from the lift-top stations. Once you’ve gained confidence in backcountry snowboarding, the next progression could involve embarking on a backcountry splitboardtour with Snowboard Arlberg.
